Is a Natural Deodorant Stone an Antiperspirant?
Not necessarily.
A deodorant is designed primarily to reduce or control body odour, whereas an antiperspirant is intended to reduce perspiration.
Many natural crystal deodorants are therefore better described as deodorants rather than antiperspirants. You may still perspire normally while using one, but the mineral salts help control the bacteria associated with unwanted odour.
That distinction is worth making very clear on Bella Forever because it sets the right customer expectation.
Are Crystal Deodorants Aluminium-Free?
This is one area where I would be very careful with the wording.
If these products contain potassium alum, we should not advertise them as “aluminium-free.” Potassium alum itself contains aluminium.
What some brands accurately say instead is that their products are free from aluminium chlorohydrate or aluminium zirconium, which are different aluminium compounds commonly used in conventional antiperspirants.
So for Bella Forever I would avoid “aluminium-free deodorant” altogether unless the individual supplier documentation specifically supports that claim.
