What is Rhassoul Clay?

Rhassoul Clay Face Mask Benefits

This clay is wonderful for keeping your skin healthy, smooth, and free from dirt, sebum, and other impurities. Take a look:

Removing Dead Skin Cells

Cleansing, moisturizing, and wearing sunscreen does protect your skins health, but in order to guarantee gorgeous and supple skin, you need to exfoliate on a regular basis. Exfoliation is one of the most important aspects of your home skincare routine. It not only helps many different skin issues, it also boosts blood circulation, which in turn helps you to achieve healthy and glowing skin. Rhassoul clay has a mildly abrasive texture that makes it great for exfoliating those dead cells from the surface of the skin to leave it soft and silky.

Deep Cleaning

Don’t be under the misconception that just washing your face is sufficient to keep pores clean. Accumulation of dead skin cells clog pores and prevent oil flowing freely through them, which leads to blackheads and pimples. That is why deep cleaning is necessary. The texture and molecular structure of Rhassoul clay helps to suck out dirt, pollution and other impurities from deep within the pores, thus cleansing and purifying them.

Dealing with Oily Skin

Those with oily skin have a lot of issues to deal with such as an oily T-zone, blackheads, zits, acne, and so on. Rhassoul clay is extremely absorbent and can efficiently soak up surface oils, along with sebum that is stuck deep in the pores – this is how breakouts can be prevented. You might not think of this clay as a particularly skin-softening ingredient, but Rhassoul clay has even been shown to improve dry skin by regulating your skin's natural oil balance! It controls the amount of oil being produced, and can prevent the skin from becoming overly dry.

Tightens Pores

As you age, the skin starts losing collagen and elastin, which are responsible for being the building blocks need for tight, small pores and a beautiful complexion. The skin gradually tends to sag, as pores shift around to a more droopy, teardrop shape. This clay can strengthen and firm pore walls, reduce their diameter and help restore a circular appearance, thanks to its natural astringent properties.

Detoxifies Skin

Clays in general are equipped to detoxify well, but Rhassoul clay takes that to a whole new level with its high level of ion exchange. It comes with a strong, negative electromagnetic charge, while the majority of toxins under your skin have a positive charge. It draws out impurities and detoxifies skin within minutes by attracting toxins and other impurities towards it. Not only is sebum, dirt, and grime removed, but toxins and wastes are gone too, giving you clean skin.

Soothes Irritations

If you have sensitive skin, you need to choose and use beauty products very carefully, or else it could cause massive damage to the delicate skin structure. This type of clay has a soothing effect that heals gently by calming inflammatory conditions of the skin such as eczema and psoriasis. The former is also known as atopic dermatitis and associated with redness, itching, dryness, scaly spots, flaking, and in severe cases, even cracking or bleeding. When Rhassoul clay is used on the affected area, you will generally experience immediate relief. With regular use, your skin condition is bound to improve.
